This month's Underland will coincide with an opening by two local visual artists. Come early!

DJ Juncoco, easily Korea's cutest DJ, playing his superbly mixed electro zzzounds, and

DJ Bobizz, playing 80s pop, DISCO, "girl music", scandinavia, electr-ohhh, and

DJ Badlaw, MWG's resident superstar, who plays new wave, rock, electro and some really surprising and inexplicable things, and

DJ CPR, playing a dedicated D I S C O set. Leftfield, underground, new and old. Ze records, LCD, drum breaks, taste.

5000 won this time.

Facts:

1) This is an at-first-seemingly-random-but-actually-painstakingly-calculated mishmash of musics: baltimore club's bangin' best, my favourite disco song of all time, a mini-dubstep tribute set, and blazing R-rated booty. With raps.

2) I mixed this live over the past hour. It is a one-shot mix that highlights how gnarly (note: this adjective is not necessarily positive) I am on the decks.

3) These SONGS (I don't play tracks) really are the Beethoven-Mozart-Brahms of the modern/current dance music era. Cream of the endlessly sprawling crop. I would be comfortable sending 100 copies of this mix in 100 tiny capsules in 100 different directions into space as a representation of humanity's best.

4) This is the exact mix I played live at UNDERLAND 2 at Myoungwallgwan. My next two DJ sets (Underland 3, July 26th, and Joker Red's Chigae, August 2nd) will sound absolutely nothing like this mix. I'm going entirely leftfield disco, old and new, for the duration of the summer.

5) There is a shocking amount of Canadian content in this mix. Holla!
